A B2B app that sells. How did we create a mobile product for wholesale?
In an industry where orders are still placed by phone, we designed an application that was several years ahead of the competition. Here’s how we came up with a product that changed the way the entire wholesale market operates.
From idea to advantage
Krox Flowers is an example of a company that didn’t wait for the market to change, but decided to change it themselves.Instead of another website upgrade or ordering system, they bet on something that simply didn’t exist in the industry: a mobile app that allows customers to reserve goods earlier, faster and more conveniently. We knew from the beginning that this wasn’t meant to be a „store on your phone.” It was to be a tool that solves a real problem: the need to access the current offer without calling, without Excel, without morning chaos. The client wanted to give its audience control over the buying process before the flower exchange begins. We wanted to make that control intuitive, elegant and fast.

How did we make B2B a product that really works?
The design process began with a workshop, where we disassembled the entire sales system. The wholesale industry has its own logic, relationships are built over years, customers are constant, and seasonality can change everything in a week. Therefore, the application had to be simple in form, but precise in operation. We designed it so that the user could browse the offer in demo mode, see stock availability and hidden prices, and only after logging in enter the full version with order history and personalized notifications. There were no coincidences here, every screen, every function had a rationale. Even the notification system that informs of new merchandise was designed to act like a good salesperson: to remind, but not to bother.
Technology that saves time and generates loyalty
The effects came quickly.Krox Flowers’ customers began using the app daily, treating it as their primary tool. According to them, it not only saves time, but also makes the availability of goods more certain. „Finally, I don’t have to get up at five in the morning to book a delivery”. – we heard from one customer. For us, that sentence meant more than any KPI. The application was not just an implementation. It became a change in habits. Sales teams gained consistency and control, and the company itself, a whole new channel for customer relations that had a real impact on loyalty and repeat purchases.

We learned one very simple lesson from this project: technology doesn’t have to look like an innovation to be one. Sometimes the biggest revolution happens when you understand what really bothers your user and just remove it.
Every B2B product that sells combines three things: simplicity, context and data.
1.Simplicity – because no one has time to guess.
2. Context – because it’s the only thing that makes sense of every feature.
3. Data – because without it, you won’t understand why the user comes back at all.
At CrocoCode, we believe that a good application doesn’t start with code, it starts with a conversation. We don’t ask „what do we build?”, we ask „what should happen after we build it?”. Technology that really works doesn’t end with implementation. It starts where the business effect begins.
